What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and improve your experience.

| Essential | Authentication, security, and basic functionality | Session / 30 days |
| Preferences | Language settings, display preferences | 1 year |

Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of the platform.
Most browsers allow you to:
- View and delete existing cookies
- Block cookies from specific or all sites
- Set preferences for certain types of cookies
Third-Party Cookies
We use payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, Flutterwave, Paystack) that may set their own cookies during checkout. These are governed by their respective privacy policies.
Advertising Pixels
If you accept cookies, Tomeer and the owners of communities on Tomeer may use Meta Pixel on public pages (a community's page, its courses, events, challenges and booking pages) to measure their ads. It records page visits, checkouts started, purchases and their amount, and sign-ups. It never runs inside member areas such as chat, messages or lessons. Each pixel's data goes to the Meta account of whoever set it, under Meta's privacy policy. If you decline, no pixel loads.
